Amazing! Even though we arrived @ 1:07pm, we were greeted and offered the special. They only had two brisket specials and two chicken specials. The food was still good, hot and delicious! Our granddaughter, who met us there, really enjoyed it. She loved the atmosphere. The waitress was so attentive to us. Thank you for making our time there wonderful! Great job, Haynie's!!

Lunch specials are all we ate when we were in the area working. The lunch specials never disappointed and we were in and out as fast or slow as we wanted.

Excellent food and rustic vibe! The staff was incredibly nice and the bacon burger hit the spot. If you’re ever in the small town of Richards and running on empty, make sure to swing by and fuel up your stomach and gas tank.

We mapped this as a resting point on a 62 mile gravel road bicycle ride from Navasota. The lady working that morning was very warm and welcoming. The restroom was very clean, the store looked nice and the breakfast burrito was good too. It was my first time in the area and it was really great. I wish the restaurant portion had been open. I will be back on a weekend.

Through the years, Haynies became little by little a key spot for bicyclists and motorcyclists while in their adventures beyond Houston area. A good breakfast will be always waiting for you every Saturday or Sunday morning. Coffees could be better but we can’t have everything, right?
